Gortacloona Standing Stone is 3km or so south of Bantry and roughly 700m due west of Keilnascarta Stone Row.
It has fallen, measures 2.6 x 1.1 x 0.5m, and has two visible cup-marks.
To the south-west Mt Corrin is prominent on the horizon and, on its summit, Cairn CO130-015 accurately marks the most southerly moonset position. This begins a useful run of hills to the west, where Knocknamaddree marks the half-month off the winter solstice.
To the south-east Cairn CO131-048 marks a lunar sixteenth.
