North centred panoramic view with luni-solar trajectories c.1000BCE from Barrees Stone Pair, West Cork, Ireland. The north-west offers very useful sector of distant horizon and the local landscape has been fitted to it. North-east major standstill moonrise is at the intersect of local and distant horizons. North is on a distant mountain in the middle of the lowest part of the horizon. South coincides with lunistice sets at a sixteenth on the major side of the mid­point. South minor standstill moonrise is at the bottom of the saddle and the set is at a step.
