- Doolin Stepped Barrow, c.1.8km south-east, shows later Bronze Age use of the same techniques.
- Leamaneh Court Tomb, c.17km east-south-east, is nearest of the type.
- Poulnabrone Portal Tomb, c.17km east-north-east, may also use an "erratic" boulder as a marker.
- Ballynamona Court Tomb in Waterford shows similar use of coastal position and sea / land relations.
