
Considerably depleted now, it marked the Bronze Age most extreme northerly moonrise when viewed from Standing Stone CO105-065, 1.4km to the south-west, in Farranfadda. That Standing Stone is 310m north-west of the Mill Little complex, from where this cairn is also on the skyline but somewhat beyond the most extreme northerly moonrise position (Declination c.33°).
