This coincides with a slight dip caused by the intersect of local and more distant ground, on which a hilltop is half-way between the equinox and summer cross-quarters.

- Silbury Hill is visible c.950m north-west (327°)
- Avebury henge & stone circles are c.2.3km north-north-west (355°)
- East Kennet Long Barrow is visible c.1.4km south-east (129°) but is NOT open to the public.
- Stoney Littleton Long Barrowis the only other Long Barrow that has been surveyed so far.
