Baunfree Passage Tomb is on a hilltop but not the highest point.
There are good views all round except for forestry to south-east & south.
The passage orientation is now uncertain but was perhaps eastwards towards Sliabh na Mban.
The only Passage Tomb Art is this ring on the inside edge of an orthostat on the north-north-west perimeter of the cairn - well beyond the lunar maximum.
Knockroe Passage Tomb is on lower ground, about four kilometres to the north-west.
